Anyway to use wildcards for eventSource names?

When doing out of proc logging with SLAB typically I have a block like:
  <consoleSink  name="ConsoleEventSink" >
          <sources >
              <eventSource  name="Samples-EventSourceDemos-Minimal" level="LogAlways" >
              </eventSource>
          </sources>
          <eventTextFormatter header="+=========================================+"/>
      </consoleSink>
However I wonder if there is anyway to use wildcards eventSource names as in :

 <eventSource  name="Samples*" level="LogAlways" >

No, there is no way in SLAB to configure eventSources by name using wildcards.

That seems to be a very reasonable enhancement request (and solves someone's "need Log4Net feature hierarchical logging" if I understand that).

Restricting the wildcard to be one that follows a hyphen separator would not seem to lose functionality and could simplify the implementation.

You can propose new features. We intend to start the planning for a major release soon.
I would prefer to see any proposal as issues on the GitHub repo. ;-)
We are beginning to formally transition to there.
